Phase 1: November 2002 to November 2005

• Zoning & Land & Building Completed – December 2002
• Zoning: Religious Zoning for Place of Worship – Completed - 2002
• Land: Purchase 1 Acre – Completed
• Building: Use for Maderessa, Office, 5 Time Prayers, Tafseer, Ramadan Taraweeh, Programs.
• Financial: Purchased land for $550 000

Phase 2: November 2005 to June 2008

• Design Building Structure – Khalil Syed, Architect retained November 2005 –
• Masjid Design Plan with proposed structure look – March 2006
• Submit building plans to City of Mississauga for approval – April 2006 (1 year process)
• Apply for Building Permit – April 2007 (6 months process)
• Construction of Building – September 2007 (1 year approximately)

Proposed Building layout

1. Build a basement gymnasium/banquet/multi purpose hall.
2. Ground floor with office, library and Men’s Prayer area.
3. Second floor with Women’s Prayer area and classrooms for schooling.
4. Parking lot
5. Minarets and Dome (Islamic Architecture)

Each Floor will be 5000 Square Feet Approximately (Three including Basement)

$2,250,000 Construction cost (15000 Square Feet x $150 per Square Ft.)

$150,000 Architectural, engineering, consultant costs
$2,760,000 Total Cost for Mosque
$400,000 Pledges for Building as of December 2005. Sadaqah Jariyyah Wall: 250 Prayer spots for $6000 each (65 Sold as of December 2005)

This Wall will be a permanent part of the Masjid structure with the names of individuals who donated on behalf of themselves, deceased relatives (parents, uncle, and aunt), etc. Posted in the main foyer of building.
