Madrassah
This program is for youth and children. This class is
taught by one of our resident Imams, Qari Hashim. Alhumdulillah,
Qari Hashim is a Hafiz of the Holy Quran and has been
active in teaching children the basics of the Islamic
faith and how to recite the Holy Quran in the Arabic language
with proper pronunciation. Qari Hashim is currently teaching
two classes for children at the Meadowvale Islamic Centre.
4:30 PM to 06:00 PM (1st Class)
# 6:30 PM. to 08:00 PM (2nd Class) The enrolment fees
for the evening madrassah are:
# One Child - $40.00
# Two Children - $70.00

Tafseer
Every Friday, the Meadowvale Islamic Centre is host
to a ‘Tafseer ul Quran’ session conducted
by Shaykh Zahir Bacchus. Shaykh Zahir needs no introduction
and his tafseer program is followed by refreshments
served at the Centre to help promote stronger ties within
the Muslim community of Meadowvale. This program begins
at 7:30pm. For more information about this program,
